About Me

I’m Rebecca Bird, a Somerset based Celebrant. I live in Frome with my husband and an ever growing collection of plants. I love flowers, being creative with anything I can get my hands on and being outdoors cycling, walking and swimming. I love to travel whether it’s in my camper, on a train or hiking a coast path. I am a volunteer for several local charities and enjoy supporting our community. I also love dancing, a life highlight has been volunteering at Glastonbury festival and being surrounded by music.

I chose a career in Celebrancy because I thrive on connecting with people, listening to their stories and helping them create unique celebrations for their significant life events.

 

I have been involved in life celebrations as an event florist for the past 20 years and appreciate the importance of building trusted client relationships. Translating peoples ideas and wishes into designs which enhance their celebration. Drawing on my experience to understand my clients' needs. From our initial conversation, I delight in guiding them through the day, making every moment special, and helping to create a truly personal ceremony.

My professional background is in individual and family support, listening to and helping people through emotional life events. Using my experience in social work and mentoring, I will prioritise your experience, offer to help you through the stages of organising your celebration, and will write your story to reflect what is important to you.

 

Whether you choose a religious, non-religious, relaxed, humorous, or creative ceremony, I will work with you to create your perfect day, celebration or ceremony.
