Booking Services
A booking is confirmed once:

Payments

Invoices must be paid within the timeframe stated on the invoice or agreement.
Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of services.
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:

Ensure any required legal marriage formalities are completed separately where applicable
Independent celebrant ceremonies are not legally binding marriage ceremonies unless conducted alongside a legal registration.
Ceremony Content
Every effort will be made to create personalised ceremonies based on information provided by clients.
Clients are responsible for reviewing drafts and confirming accuracy before the ceremony date.
I reserve the right to refuse wording or content that is:

Discriminatory

Defamatory

Illegal

Inappropriate for the ceremony setting
Cancellations and Refunds
If a client wishes to cancel a booking, notice should be provided in writing as soon as possible.
Any deposits paid may be non-refundable depending on work already completed and the proximity to the ceremony date.
Where possible, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule bookings.
If I am unable to perform the ceremony due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond my control, I will make reasonable efforts to assist in finding a replacement celebrant where possible. Liability will be limited to any fees already paid.
Photography and Testimonials
With client consent, photographs, testimonials, and reviews may be used for website and marketing purposes.
Clients may withdraw consent at any time by contacting me.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rebecca Bird shall not be liable for:
